Again here we are with a new episode of
our trip report. We had a short night this time because we needed to
get up early; once per week all koi breeders meet and such as each
we are in the middle of this. You as you can guess the report of
this day will be somewhat shorter. But I have a number of pictures
for you of which i can say that they show quality fish all over. |
This new day started at Mano's to see if
he still knows us since last year. I also have the hope that he did
not forget that I placed back his best Shusui in its basin after I
made my selection.
At the moment that I opened the sliding doors of his Koi house I
immediately was in the ban of the quality of his fish. Just to say
super fish.
We had to wait before he was available but once arrived we started a
lively conversation about the selection of a number of Koi.
First our talk did not progress to well but once Papa Mano
San entered the Koi house to tone of the conversation changed into
friendly and we went to the basin where I could select 10 Tategoi.
The basin was netted and with me balancing on a small ridge I could
start the selection. The results are shown in the picture at the
right. An absolute top fish is the Kin Ki Showa; not to well shown
on the picture but super if you can see it directly |

Hereafter we went to Aoki and as always I
say look and shiver. I only got a small number of Koi but the
quality is outstanding. My travel fellows are calling for me and
therefore I leave you for today and wish you lots of pleasure with
the pictures.
